  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
  • 2/3 cup dried cranberries
  • 3/4 cup cold whole goat's milk
  • 1 large egg

Method

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment.
  2. Whisk the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt together.
  3. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs, then stir in the dried cranberries.
  4. Whisk the goat's milk and egg together, then stir into the dry ingredients just until a shaggy dough forms.
  5. Pat into a circle, cut into 8 wedges, place on the sheet, and bake 16-18 minutes until golden.
