Oat Milk Coffee Creamer Base

A simple infused creamer base that takes well to vanilla bean, hazelnut, or pumpkin spice, thanks to oat milk's naturally sweet, neutral starting flavor.

What you need

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Oat Milk
  • 1 Vanilla Bean, split and scraped, or 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 2 tbsp Maple Syrup
  • Pinch of Salt

Method

Instructions

  1. Combine the oat milk and vanilla bean (pod and scraped seeds) in a small saucepan.
  2. Warm gently over low heat for 5 minutes to infuse, without boiling.
  3. Remove the vanilla pod and stir in the maple syrup and salt.
  4. Cool completely before transferring to a bottle or jar.
  5. Shake well before each use, since natural separation is normal.
