What you need

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Rice Milk
  • 3 tbsp Maple Syrup
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Bean Paste
  • Pinch of Salt

Method

Instructions

  1. Combine the rice milk, maple syrup, vanilla bean paste, and salt in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Bring to a gentle simmer, then reduce heat to low.
  3. Simmer 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until reduced by about a third and slightly thickened.
  4. Cool completely, it will not thicken much further, since rice milk has very little natural body.
  5. Bottle and refrigerate; pour over cold brew coffee, shaking well before each use.
