Soy Milk Condensed Milk

What you need

  • 4 cups Unsweetened Soy Milk
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • Pinch of Salt

Method

Instructions

  1. Combine the soy milk and sugar in a wide, heavy saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Bring to a gentle simmer, then reduce heat to low.
  3. Simmer uncovered for 50 to 65 minutes, stirring occasionally at first and more frequently toward the end, until reduced by about half and syrupy.
  4. Stir in the salt.
  5. Cool completely, then bottle and refrigerate; use within 3 weeks.
