Soy Milk Teriyaki Glazed Salmon

Pan-seared salmon finished with a soy milk-enriched teriyaki glaze for a rounder, less sharp sauce.

What you need

Ingredients

  • 4 Salmon Fillets
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp Neutral Oil
  • 1/3 cup Soy Sauce
  • 3 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup Unsweetened Soy Milk

Method

Instructions

  1. Season the salmon and sear in oil over medium-high heat, 4 to 5 minutes, then flip and cook 2 to 3 minutes more. Set aside.
  2. In the same pan, combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, and ginger, and simmer over medium heat until slightly reduced, 3 to 4 minutes.
  3. Reduce heat to low and stir in the soy milk.
  4. Simmer gently 1 to 2 minutes until glossy.
  5. Spoon the glaze over the salmon and serve.
