Potato Milk & Charcoal Clarifying Mask

This is the strongest clarifying mask in the entire book, bentonite clay and activated charcoal stacked together for maximum oil and impurity absorption, plus potato milk's enzyme activity and tea tree's antimicrobial action, appropriate specifically for blackhead-prone T-zone areas rather than full-face use on drier skin.

What you need

Ingredients

  • Phase A (Aqueous Enzyme Phase)
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL / 30g) Fresh Potato Milk
  • Phase B (Absorbent & Clarifying Base)
  • 1 tbsp (8g) Bentonite Clay
  • 1 tsp (2g) Activated Charcoal Powder
  • Phase C (Essential Oil)
  • 1 drop Tea Tree Essential Oil (Melaleuca alternifolia)

Method

Instructions

  1. Combine bentonite clay and activated charcoal powder in a small non-metallic glass bowl.
  2. Add tea tree essential oil and fresh potato milk.
  3. Stir with a wooden or silicone spatula until a smooth charcoal paste forms.
  4. APPLICATION
  5. Paint over T-zone or congested facial areas. Allow to dry for 10 minutes (do not let clay dry to the cracking point). Rinse thoroughly with warm water.
