Rice Milk & Honey Lip Scrub

Rice flour's very fine particle size softens sugar's sharper edges just enough to make this scrub safe for lip mucosa specifically, which is thinner and more delicate than body or hand skin, a genuine dual-texture exfoliation that a plain sugar scrub wouldn't be as gentle delivering.

What you need

Ingredients

  • Phase A (Exfoliant Phase)
  • 1 tbsp (12g) Fine Granulated Sugar
  • ½ tsp (1.5g) Fine Rice Flour
  • Phase B (Liquid & Humectant)
  • 1 tsp (5 mL / 5g) Rice Milk
  • ½ tsp (2.5 mL / 3.5g) Raw Honey

Method

Instructions

  1. Combine granulated sugar and fine rice flour in a small glass jar.
  2. Add raw honey and rice milk; stir into a stiff, sugary paste.
  3. APPLICATION
  4. Dab a small amount onto lips.
  5. Rub gently in circular motions with fingertips for 30 seconds.
  6. Rinse off with warm water and follow with lip balm.
