Tiger Nut Milk Hair Conditioning Rinse

Tiger Nut Milk Hair Conditioning Rinse

This is the book's only apple cider vinegar hair rinse, included specifically because ACV's acidity lowers hair's surface pH after the alkaline effect of most shampoos, which closes (seals) the hair cuticle and creates the smooth, shiny finish this recipe is known for, a genuinely different mechanism from the oil- and protein-based conditioning treatments used everywhere else in this book.
