Camel Milk Meatloaf

A tender, moist meatloaf using camel milk-soaked breadcrumbs for a genuinely soft crumb.

What you need

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup Camel Milk
  • 2 lbs Ground Beef
  • 1 Onion, finely diced
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/3 cup Ketchup, divided
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste

Method

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Soak the breadcrumbs in the camel milk for 5 minutes.
  2. Combine the soaked breadcrumbs with the ground beef, onion, eggs, half the ketchup, Worcestershire, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix gently until just combined and shape into a loaf in a baking dish.
  4. Brush the top with the remaining ketchup.
  5. Bake 55 to 65 minutes, until a thermometer reads 160°F.
