Camel Milk Salisbury Steak

Seasoned beef patties in a rich camel milk and mushroom gravy.

What you need

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1/3 cup Breadcrumbs, soaked in 1/4 cup Camel Milk
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 8 oz Mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 batch Camel Milk Mushroom Gravy (see Sauces chapter)

Method

Instructions

  1. Combine the ground beef, soaked breadcrumbs, egg, and Worcestershire. Mix gently and form into oval patties.
  2. Sear the patties in butter over medium-high heat until browned and cooked through, about 4 minutes per side; set aside.
  3. Sauté the mushrooms in the same pan.
  4. Prepare the camel milk mushroom gravy in the same pan, incorporating the sautéed mushrooms.
  5. Return the patties to the gravy to warm through and serve.
